This workshop will provide knowledge, strategies, and tools to effectively manage sponsored projects through the discussion of the federal regulations upon which institutional compliance is based; the administrative concepts of proposal submission; costing issues; the concept of effort; post award management; project closeout; compliance; and audits.

The workshop is open to Members and Non-Members alike at a cost of $200, which includes continental breakfast, lunch, and workshop materials.

UPDATE:
the NCURA Region II Workshops entitled “Building Blocks for Research Administration” and “Building a Budget” at the University of Pittsburgh have been rescheduled to the following dates:
Thursday, September 14, 2023: “Building Blocks for Research Administration”
Friday, September 15, 2023: “Building a Budget”
Those who have already registered for one or both of the Workshops will have their registrations automatically carry over to the new date(s).
Existing registrants may instead apply their registration fees to one or both of the workshops being offered at the University of Pittsburgh next month (“Contracts: Common Issues and Best Practices for All Sponsor Types” on August 24th, “Intellectual Property Management” on August 25th). Alternatively, registrants may request a refund via email to treasurer@ncuraregion2.org.
